Certified Pharmacy Tech, PRN, Variable
We are trying to find a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy group in Albuquerque, NM.
This PRN (as required) task lies at Lovelace Medical Center, in the heart of Albuquerque, an intense care healthcare facility offering extensive care, consisting of ongoing emergency situation care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spinal column surgical treatment, cardiology, stroke care, radiology and oncology services, consisting of the state’s only Gamma Knife Center for non-invasive radiologic brain surgical treatment.
Certified Pharmacy Technician Job Requirements:
- Assists pharmacists in numerous pharmaceutical activities to consist of the preparation and circulation of medications, the upkeep of drug stock, client records and monetary records.
- Works just under the direct guidance of a signed up pharmacist.
- Performs clerical functions such as getting in information, filing and answering telephones.
- Interacts with clients in an expert, polite and client friendly way.
Position Requirements:
Certified Pharmacy Tech Education and Experience Requirements:
- Graduate of a certified drug store specialist program or comparable training
No straight associated experience Desired: Six (6) months of associated experience
- NM Board of Pharmacy registration upon date worked with; or sign up within 10 (10) days of hire with Pharmacist in Charge signature. NM Board of Pharmacy authorized Certification.
- HOSPITAL BASED DESIRED: IV Certification or must be acquired within 6 (6) months from date of hire
- Ability to interact efficiently; Basic computer system abilities
