o Accurately and regularly charges and credits client medication from the cart fill lists

o Accurately tapes amounts of medications provided when filling flooring stock demands

4. Assists in keeping appropriate stock and control of medications and products bought by the drug store

o Maintains organized stock levels of all medications in the giving location assist in the correct and prompt filling of medication orders as observed and inspected by a pharmacist

5. Maintains workspace in a cool, organized, and tidy condition

o Medications saved in the giving location and work stations (consisting of the IV space) are kept in a cool and organized condition at all times, to minimize capacity for mistakes

o Outdated medications are eliminated from stock to avoid dispensing

6. Actively takes part in the quality enhancement activities of the department

Qualifications

Experience Minimum Required

  • 1 year as a Pharmacy Tech

Experience Preferred/Desired

  • 1 year as a healthcare facility Pharmacy Tech

Education Minimum Required

  • HS Diploma

Training Preferred/Desired

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician from PTCB, NHA (previously referred to as ICPT) or ASHP

Special Skills Minimum Required

  • Pharmacy Automation, Computer abilities

Licensure and/or Certifications Required

  • NH Pharmacy Technician Registration needed sometimes of hire.
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification from PTCB within 90 days of hire.
