POSITION SUMMARY
The Licensed Pharmacy Tech is accountable for helping the Pharmacist in shipment of extensive pharmaceutical care under the guidance of the Pharmacist according to federal and Oregon state laws and department guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent
Experience
- No previous drug store experience is needed, nevertheless some drug store experience or comparable task experience is chosen
Certifications
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician (PhT) by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy is needed upon start
- Or, Licensed Pharmacy Intern by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy is accepted upon start
Required Skills & Abilities
- Basic mathematics abilities
- Ability to focus on numerous functions and to manage tension of hectic everyday operations
- Manual mastery
- Able to interact efficiently
- Excellent social abilities to represent departments to the general public and internal clients
Other favored certifications: Good computer system abilities consisting of data processing and spreadsheets; 10- Key efficiency; typing at 40 wpm; basic understanding and understanding of DNV requirements if appropriate.
