Summary:

Under the guidance of a pharmacist, fills medication orders, pre-packages, substances pharmaceuticals, refills stock products, provides medication and carries out numerous clerical responsibilities as needed

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Maintains practice proficiency in picked locations of PHS drug store operations e.g. medication preparation, buying, or administrative/financial.

Fills medication orders for inpatients, outpatients, regionals and PHS centers. Disperses flooring stock products.

Compounds, labels and repackages medications.

Fills and exchanges system dosage cassettes.

Fills orders for illegal drugs and preserves all needed records.

Delivers materials to client system and supplementary locations.

Performs clerical and billing responsibilities as designated.

Answers telephone and reacts to concerns and issues.

Restocks medication products.

Checks stock regularly to determine and reorder out outdated stock and guarantees that stock is kept in accordance with maker requirements.

Responsible for adherence to the Department Compliance Plan for Controlled compounds.

Qualifications
