Assist the Pharmacist in prioritizing medication orders, and works closely with Pharmacist(s) in determining routine daily department needs. Performs medication order functions such as order interpretation, preparation, drug distribution, and quality assurance. Provides exemplary customer service and respect at all times during interactions with patients, customers, healthcare providers and other associates. The outpatient/retail pharmacy technician is responsible for all pharmacy technician activities and adhering to assigned work schedules. Provide direction and guidance to othertechnicians and pharmacy interns during their training in pharmacy drug distribution and operational matters when requested. What You Bring/Job Requirements In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: Prior retail or hospital outpatient pharmacy technician experience, preferred High School or GED required. An Active Pharmacy tech license in the state of Colorado required. Light work – (Exert up to 20lbs force occasionally, and/or up to10lbs frequently) Minimum Pay USD $16.42/Hr.
