Certifications

  • Education: High School Diploma needed. Associates Degree chosen.
  • Experience: One year appropriate experience chosen. If Partner’s Degree in Pharm Tech, experience is consisted of in education.
  • Licensure/ Accreditation/ Registration: Present computer registry with appropriate State Board( s) of Drug store needed. PTCB or NHA Accreditation within 60 days of hire or evidence of registration in drug store school/FPGEE/FPGEC needed.
  • Extra Skills/Requirements needed: State Registration and/or proof of renewal is needed for both Pharmacists and Technicians fifteen days prior to expiration and Specialists are needed to be either licensed through Drug store Specialist Accreditation Board (PTCB), National Health profession Association (NHA) or be actively registered in drug store school, or be active in Foreign Drug store Graduate Equivalency Evaluation (FPGEE) or Foreign Drug Store Equivalency Accreditation (FPGEC). Substantial understanding and application of standard mathematics abilities, consisting of ratio and percentage relationships; strong spoken and written interaction abilities, capability to follow spoken and written guidelines.
