Our St. Francis hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Tech. We are looking for your experience, knowledge and patient care skills in where you will be responsible for:

Executes the non-judgmental tasks of the Department of Pharmacy to assist in the safe, accurate and timely management of medications. These duties include preparing medications & IV admixtures for Pharmacist’s verification, stocking automated dispensing cabinets, answering telephone and department doors/windows, performing unit inspections, departmental billing, & dosage calculations. The position is supervised by Staff Pharmacists, Pharmacy Operations Coordinator and/or the Director of Pharmacy.

Position Requirements:

  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Registration with Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire. Successful completion of CPhT exam within 6 months of hire.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy practice in a hospital setting. Ability to communicate well both orally and in writing. Mathematics skills.
