Position Description:

Helps Pharmacist in filling, intensifying, and giving doctor orders. Carries out numerous technical responsibilities included with the handling, product packaging, and shipment of pharmaceuticals. The Drug store Tech II shows efficiency to practice in 2 (2) or more of 5 (5) particular drug store locations (Oncology/Main, nursery, surgical treatment, house care, narcotics/materials management). Offers client care services to neonate, pediatric, teen, adult, and geriatric clients.

Position Requirements:

Needed:

1. Existing registration as a Drug store Service Technician in the State of Georgia

2. Experience as a: a. Drug store Professional I for a minimum of 6 (6) months at Northside Healthcare facility with shown efficiency in 2 of 5 determined specialized locations OR b. Drug store trainee with an Intern License released by the State Board of Drug store with a minimum of 6 (6) months drug store experience in lieu of accreditation OR c. Licensed Service technician worked with from outside the Northside System with one year of health system associated experience with a shown efficiency in 2 of 5 recognized specialized locations.

3. Effective conclusion of Drug store Professional Accreditation Board Test.

4. Capability to interact successfully with clients, doctors, colleagues, and others as essential.

5. Understanding and ability in the operation of desktop computers and workplace devices.

Preferred:

1. Previous medical facility drug store experience.

2. Qualified professional training program.
