DRUG STORE TECH II in House Health Infusion Drug Store

The House Health Infusion Drug store is hiring for a Drug store Service technician to deal with pharmacists and techs, nurses, client households. Perfect prospects will have IV Space experience (choose House Infusion, if suitable), be self-motivated, self-dependent, information oriented and capability to multitask.

SUBFUNCTION MEANING: A service technician who helps the pharmacist in specific activities such as medication profile evaluates for drug incompatibilities, typing of prescription labels, prescription product packaging, handling of purchase records, and stock control, and might, where state law and medical facility policy license, give drugs to clients under the guidance of a signed up pharmacist.

AGENT DUTIES

· Medication Orders

Carries out brand-new orders entry into Fastrack and order evaluation in IMPRESSIVE. Procedures fill up orders in Fastrack. Carries out medication storage examinations.

· Intensifying

Carries out Sterilized intensifying or non-sterile harmful compounding.

· Tech Inspect Tech

Under licensed program has the ability to examine the work of another drug store service technician.

· Medication Management

Handles medication dosages for different House Care populations.

· Phone Triage

Carries out phone triage

Credentials

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Needed:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· 1 year of work experience in an associated task discipline

· Licensed through Drug Store Specialist Accreditation Board (PTCB) or eligible for certificatio Registered with Ohio Board of Drug Store as a Registered Drug Store Professional.

Preferred:

· 3 years high volume IV experience
