Summary
The Drug store Tech II will help in preparing, product packaging, providing, and charging of medications, under the direct guidance of a certified pharmacist.
Position responsibilities consist of the following activities:
Obligations
Fill and identify medications.
Stock medications into drug store stock.
Restock automated giving cabinets (ADCs).
Drug Store Tech II is to keep appropriate medication stock levels and correct storage of medications.
Provide medications to client care locations.
Address medication demands and call.
Drug store Tech II help in Drug store quality control activities.
The Drug Store Tech II is to abide by state and federal regulative requirements, Joint Commission requirements and Tenet and medical facility policies and treatments.
Drug store Tech II help pharmacists in carrying out numerous responsibilities as appointed.
Certifications
Education
Needed: High School Graduate or comparable
Experience
Preferred: 2 years health center experience
Accreditations
Needed: Registered Drug store Professional license or Drug store Service technician accreditation, as needed by State law. Certified training in sterilized items preparation
