Location: St. Vincent’s East (Trussville)
Schedule: 7on/7off; 11: 30am-10: 00pm
- Three years experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting.
- Current active technician registration with the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician highly preferred.
What You Will Do
Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the pharmacist.
- Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.
- Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the pharmacy department.
- Repackage bulk medications.
- Receive and store incoming supplies.
- Serve as liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professional by providing information as necessary.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Alabama Board of Pharmacy obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate’s degree, or Technical degree required.
Additional Preferences
- Three years experience in a hospital or comparative IV pharmacy setting, or current active IV Certification required.
- Current active technician registration with the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy required.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
