PHARMACY TECHNICIAN III CERTIFIED

The Pharmacy Solutions Certified Technician III is a healthcare professional who plays an integral role in the pharmacy operations. Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, the pharmacy technician is responsible for assisting Pharmacists in the safe distribution of medications. The fulfillment technician is responsible for the overall coordination of daily medication and supply orders, shipping of patient medications, and customer service. This technician is able to perform Pharmacy Solutions Certified Technician I and II duties.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High School Degree or GED Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program. or Bachelor’s Degree, Associate Degree
• License/Certification: Active National Pharm Tech Cert (CPhT) is required. Approved cert is through Pharm Tech Cert Board (PCTB) and ExCPT Cert by the National Healthcareer Association. Active registration with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician. This position is in an outpatient setting.
• Experience: Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician with 1-2 years of pharmacy experience.
• Specialized Knowledge: Organized, high-integrity, attention to detail, dependable, quality focus, empathetic, good listener/communicator. Discretion and confidentiality essential as position deals with highly sensitive and private data.

Hours for this position are: 8: 00am – 4: 30pm
