Assists the pharmacist in the preparation and delivery of medications to hospitalized clients in such a manner that will offer the maximum amount and quality of care. To assist the pharmacist with non- professional tasks to ensure that the Drug store Department will remain in complete compliance with all state, federal, DHEC, and Board of Drug store laws, guidelines and regulations.

To perform this job successfully, a specific should have the ability to perform each vital duty adequately. The requirements listed below are representative of the understanding, skill, and/or ability needed. Education/Other Certifications

1. High school graduate or equivalent.

2. Should have finished pharmacy technician training or have Pharmacy Service Technician Accreditation.

3. Need to be able to use computer, unit dosage product packaging device and hyperalimentation base compounding device.

4. Need to have the capability to deal with continual attention, concentration and carefulness on routine and repetitious jobs and assignments.
