T he Medication Access Organizer function is developed for an experienced Registered Pharmacy Service technician with retail pharmacy insurance experience or a Medicaid/Medicare/Private Pay Insurance professional with at a minimum one year of drug store Professional experience. This is an ideal role for someone with a passion for pharmacy but also one with issue solving ability to advocate options for our Nebraska Medication patients. One should be competent not just in drug store medications/ procedures however likewise tech saavy to browse between multiple computer system screens and applications. This is a desk position but a high paced environment where documents and follow-up skills are crucial.

Determine, support, and assist clients, supplier groups, and the pharmacy department to overcome barriers to medication gain access to, with focused proficiency in 3rd party prior permission and billing processes for drug store advantages. Help patients within registration into grants, help programs, and interact any financial responsibilities. Supply a Face-to Face next to oriented service that provides extensive financial alternatives to clients. Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years health care and/or insurance/third party compensation experience to consist of one year of pharmacy specialist experience required.
High school education or equivalent needed.
Exceptional social skills and the capability to successfully engage with a variety of internal and external customers at all levels needed.
Capability to fix issues independently and need to be highly vested in team management needed.
Capability to multi-task and excel in a vibrant environment required.
Experience with various computer mainframe, network, web based and payer applications needed.
Should register with the State of NE as a pharmacy service technician required.
Should finish Pharmacy Specialist Accreditation within one year needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of commercial, Medicare B, Medicare D, and Medicaid drug store guidelines and guidelines chosen.
Partner’s degree in company, healthcare or associated field chosen.
Bi-lingual preferred. Prior Permission experience in specialized or retail drug store preferred.
