Credentials

  • Education: High School Diploma needed. Associates Degree chosen.
  • Experience: Severe Care: Previous experience in a minimum of 2 drug store abilities (examples might consist of medication circulation, sterilized intensifying, and/or medication listing activities) needed. OR … worked with as a Drug store Tech 1 Licensed and now effectively carrying out a 2nd drug store ability as explained above needed. Outpatient Oncology: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in any setting with one year of experience in sterilized intensifying (of IV and/or chemotherapy admixture). Specialized Drug Store: Minimum of 2 years in any setting needed with one year in specialized setting chosen needed.
  • Licensure/ Accreditation/ Registration: Present computer registry with relevant State Board( s) of Drug store needed. PTCB Accreditation within 60 days of hire, or evidence of registration in drug store school/FPGEE/FPGEC needed.
  • Extra Skills/Requirements needed: State Registration and/or proof of renewal is needed for both Pharmacists and Technicians fifteen days prior to expiration and Specialists are needed to be either licensed through Drug store Service technician Accreditation Board (PTCB), or be actively registered in drug store school, or be active in Foreign Drug store Graduate Equivalency Assessment (FPGEE) or Foreign Drug Store Equivalency Accreditation (FPGEC). Significant understanding and application of standard mathematics abilities (consisting of ratio and percentage relationships), strong spoken and written interaction abilities, capability to follow spoken and written guidelines. Fundamental innovation abilities. Other responsibilities as described in Novant Health and center particular policies and treatments. Capability to drive/travel to several facilities/locations as required. Capability to work as part of a high carrying out, alter prepared and resistant group.
  • Extra Skills/Requirements chosen: Substantial understanding of medication names (both trade and generic) and their dosages, paths of administration, and unfavorable results; the capability to show client interview abilities and strong composed and spoken interaction abilities with other health care specialists. Experience with stock management.
