Description
Function:
The Licensed Drug Store Professional, under the instructions and guidance of a pharmacist, will help in the preparation, giving, charging, and shipment of medications to clients. Clients served consist of any age groups.
Duties:
- Daily contact with Nursing Departmental Worker, other department healthcare facility workers, doctors, and other Peak Health System workers.
- Other responsibilities as designated.

Credentials
Work experience needed (among the following is needed):
- Previous professional experience with accreditation by the Drug store Service Technician Accreditation Board (PTCB)
- Bachelor’s degree with accreditation by the Drug store Service Technician Accreditation Board (PTCB)
- Conclusion of one complete year of education from a recognized drug store school.
- Effectively finishes all appointed yearly competencies.Certification by the Drug store Service Technician Accreditation Board (PTCB) acquired and kept consisting of needed continuing education credits or unless actively registered in a certified drug store school.
Licensure, Accreditations, and Clearances:
Clearances should be dated within 90 days
- Act 33 with renewal
- Act 34 with renewal
