Under the management of the Director, Drug Store, the Drug Store Specialist– Qualified is an active member of the department that helps the Drug store personnel in the preparation and circulation of pharmaceutical items. The Drug Store Specialist– Qualified aids with prescriptions, shipment of medications, responding to the phone, equipping racks. The Tech preserves stock of drug store products and sends reorders as required.
Fundamental Credentials:
- Education:
Needs a high school diploma or a GED state accreditation.
- Experience:
Needs approximately one year of job-related experience or any comparable mix of education, training and experience.
- Licensure, Registrations & Certifications:
Needs and keeps a Qualified Drug store Service Technician (CPT) registration.
Needs and preserves a legitimate motorist’s license and evidence of insurance coverage.

Necessary Task Responsibilities:

- Provides an expert image to CRHS nursing, and medical team member.
- Carries out other associated task responsibilities as appointed.
Standards of Efficiency:
- Offers medication, drug info and pharmaceutical services to clients, nurses, doctors and other healthcare facility workers.
