To supply technical assistance in the different elements, functions, and obligations of The Department of Drug store. Successfully carries out all proficiencies regularly particular to designated location/ place. Effectively finishes a minimum of 20 hours of Continuing Education every 2 years. Assists in the training, orientation and evaluation of New Personnel, Interns, Externs and Trainees. Submits a minimum of one Supply Expense Decrease concept every year. Takes part in a Quality Enhancement Effort. Plays a substantial function in the department’s preparedness for The Joint Commission.
UNDERSTANDING, ABILITIES & CAPABILITIES
MUST COMPLETE ALL REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS AND Remain In ACTIVE STATUS WITH THE STATE OF GEORGIA DRUG STORE BOARD PRIOR TO WORK
Partner’s Degree in Arts, Sciences, Service, Education, Engineering, Nursing, Infotech, Computer Technology, Informatics or the comparable PREFERRED.
Equivalent being specified as 60 term hours or 95 quarter hours from a legitimate post secondary education program.
Drug Store Professional Accreditation by the Georgia Board of Drug Store REQUIRED within 12 months of work or position transfer.
The Drug store service technician will be needed to finish a 6 week training program and pass the last examination with a rating of 80% or much better. At this time Drug store specialists need to have the ability to show performance in typing, preparation of aseptic options and need to understand inpatient and outpatient drug circulation systems and have the ability to work mathematical estimations properly.
Needs to have the ability to show understanding of the concepts of development and advancement over the life expectancy.

Advanced Level Accreditation:
Has a present and legitimate accreditation from the Drug store Service Technician Accreditation Board. Tech II status relies on yearly accreditation and evidence of recognition from the Board.
