Pinnacle Systems is looking for a Drug store Tech in Albuquerque, NM!

Title: Prep Room/Warehouse – Drug Store Service Technician

Hours: 40 hours per week and overtime as needed according to the requirements of the service (8 hour shift in between the hours of 8: 30 a.m. – 5: 00 p.m. M – F) Rotating weekends on-call

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates caring, caring service that exceeds consumer expectations
  • Helps Pharmacist with preparing and dispensing recommended medication for clients
  • Work within assigned drug store Prep Space to safely and properly fill client prescriptions
  • Staging medications for intensifying group
  • Packing medications and products for patient deliveries
  • Focusing on patient shipments based upon shipment time and place
  • Equipping and renewing medications
  • Getting shipments and assists in warehouse
  • Determines Medication and other products for re-order
  • Raising up to 30 lbs consistently
  • Opportunities to train in other areas of the infusion pharmacy

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Licensed Pharmacy Service Technician in State of New Mexico
  • National Pharmacy Professional Certification
  • Offered to work 40 hours per week and overtime as required according to the requirements of the company (8 hour shift between the hours of 8: 30 a.m. – 5: 00 p.m. M – F) Turning weekends on-call
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the capability to discover new and complex computer system applications
  • Position requires attention to detail, great hand-eye coordination, and the capability to lift 30 pounds regularly

Preferred Qualifications:

  • House infusion and/or Hospital experience
  • Experience in sterile items preparation
  • 2 years Drug store Tech experience

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Standing, walking, and raising up to 30 pounds
  • Hours 8: 30 am-5: 00 pm Monday-Friday and rotating paid on-call weekends
