NECESSARY FUNCTIONS OF THE FUNCTION
Carries out restricted drug store services and tasks related to the equipping, preparation, labeling, giving and shipment of medications.
Assists clients and medical personnel with nonjudgmental concerns under the direct guidance of a pharmacist preceptor.
Responses inbound telephone call and reacts to the requirements of the caller and/or directs them to the suitable individual for service.
Interacts immediately with all proper employee when stock levels are low and helps with drug getting and stock control in a proper way (ex. buying and getting of medications and materials).
Carries out designated jobs relating to drug store quality assurance, management of drug store records, stock control and preparation of order for drugs.
Gets in medication orders from medical professionals’ order sheets/prescriptions and fills according to label, guaranteeing that the appropriate item is given which the dose kind and charge amount remain in accordance with formulary; goes into appropriate billing information and is accountable for medication charges and credits.
Deals with inconsistencies, troubleshoots and runs reports from the automated giving device (ADM)
