Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

A Pharmacy Tech assists the pharmacist with jobs associated with offering high quality drug store services to our clients, including the preparation of IV admixtures, filling medication requests, and maintaining drug store inventory

WHAT YOU WILL REQUIRE

  • Interaction – The ability to interact efficiently with a variety of individuals including, clients, Pharmacists and Physicians
  • Issue Solving – The capability to problem solve problems with clients, insurance provider and co-workers
  • Take Note Of the small things – The ability to take note of information is an extremely demanded ability

Credentials

MINIMUM CREDENTIALS

  • Completion of a pharmacy tech program
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) with the Texas State Board of Drug store or drug store school trainee intern card
  • Aseptic Method– Total an ACPE authorized 40 hour sterile products course as required by location
  • Experience Needed – None
