Purpose:
Under the guidance of a certified Pharmacist carries out regular and specific technical and clerical responsibilities for drug circulation to clients. This task develops on the duties of a Pharmacy Technician Certified I.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Responses Phones and triages customer support concerns.
2. Prepares prescription and non-prescription medication and/or gadgets.
3. Stocks and renews stock places and automated giving makers (ADMs) and/or robotics (example: racks, carousels, Parata).
4. Works as a preceptor and helps with orientation and training of drug store department personnel.
5. Interacts supply concerns, issues or disparities properly.
6. Assists in modifying policy and treatment
7. Provides medications to beds or client care location
8. Carries out acquiring and billing functions.
9. Establishes and preserves training products
Inpatient Only:
10. Prepares intravenous admixtures or other sterilized drug items (omitting antineoplastic medications) in accordance with USP chapter

under guidance of a certified Pharmacist.
11. Prepares or substances non-sterile, non-antineoplastic drug items in accordance with USP chapter
795
under guidance of a certified Pharmacist.
12. Preserves the software and hardware of the department’s numerous computer system systems.
Outpatient Only:
13. Digitally processes prescription orders and prepares prescriptions for confirmation by a pharmacist.
14. Procedures 3rd party claims.
15. Carries out in the call center, mail order processing, takes spoken orders from service providers, runs signs up, information entry, production, and transfers prescriptions.
16. Carries out other tasks as needed or appointed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree in a health or associated field, with 1 year of drug store experience, or the comparable in education and experience chosen.
Ability to flexibly operate in a quick paced environment with precision.
Strong customer care abilities, consisting of phone interactions
Ability to multitask and attention to information.
Ability to keep composure under demanding circumstances.
Required Licensure/Certification Skills:
Registered Pharmacy Technician with the NH Board of Pharmacy needed.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) accreditation needed.
BLS Certification needed within 30 days of hire for Pharmacy Technicians in the Retail or Specialty Pharmacy.
