POSITION SUMMARY:
Pharmacy service technicians help and support certified pharmacists in supplying healthcare and medications to clients. Drug store professionals need to have a broad understanding of drug store practice, and be proficient in the strategies needed to buy, stock, bundle, and substance and otherwise prepare medications.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: High school degree or equivalent
- Previous experience as a healthcare facility drug store service technician chosen
- Nationally accredited by PTCB or NHA as a licensed Pharmacy Technician; ACPE or ASHP accredit course in intensifying sterilized preparations and IV accreditation or conclusion within 6 months
