SUMMARY of the position:

RESPONSIBILITIES of the position:

Store Operations

– Provide fantastic customer care and good example service requirements, consisting of working carefully with Pharmacy Care Representatives (PCRs) in offering client care

– Have an understanding and understanding of HEB Pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) and where to access them

– Receive and process composed prescriptions from clients utilizing RxEVO computer system

– Verify total client info to input into the computer system

– Input prescription information into computer system

– Process 3rd celebration prescriptions and handle adjudication evaluation

– Apply computer system troubleshooting and prescription application summary

– Manage the -Exception- station

– Retrieve stock from rack for processing

– Performs prescription assembly utilizing

Kirby Lester

– Verification and label of prescriptions by 8 point check. Overall shift production might consist of as much as 1,000 scripts on a heavy volume day

– Ensure the personal privacy and privacy of Personal Health Information (PHI) as needed by HIPAA

– Hand count control medications, procedure liquids, reconstitute prescription antibiotics

– Verify kind of cap needed for prescription (child-proof, simple open); change if essential

– Process Central Fill Check In

– Inventory purchasing and management through RxIMS

– Check storage facility and DSD shipment for precision, alert HEB/DSD supplier if brief

– Review Warehouse and DSD orders through RxIMS; make modifications as required

– Invoices processed on prompt basis

– Maintenance and maintenance of center

Central Fill

– Perform all professional responsibilities.

– Order medication/pharmacy products

– Keep stock on weekly basis

– Keep track of back order/vendor delay/discontinued/change in NDC and maker

– Able to develop item upc code

– Use inquiries for item volume within particular length of time

– Obtain medication to get rid of out of stock

– Work with Anthony on moving item for a more effective production circulation

– Print out stock labels when required

REQUIREMENTS for the position:

– High school diploma or comparable and should be at least 18 years of age

– State of Texas accreditation as Pharmacy Technician

– Acquire 20 hours of continuing education every 2 years

– 1-2 years previous retail experience chosen; drug store experience highly chosen

– Mathematical abilities consisting of determining measurements

– Basic computer system abilities (MS Windows, TAO, HEB Intranet)

– Must have exceptional interaction abilities and show outstanding telephone rules

– Strong group orientation, going to pitch in anytime for any factor.

– Experience operating in a quick paced environment

– Must be a self-starter, and have the ability to deal with little direct guidance
