Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Tech will work under the direction of the Pharmacist and Department Director. The CPhT performs technical functions for the department to operate efficiently through the proper handling, preparation and distribution of medications, and will perform only those duties for which he/she has demonstrated competency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Certified Tech (CPHT) and licensed in Texas required
- License in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
- IV Certification required
- Knowledge of Pharmacy and Automated Dispensing Machines preferred
