The person in this position will help in preparing, product packaging, providing, and charging of medications, under the direct guidance of a certified pharmacist.
Obligations
1. Fill and identify medications.
2. Stock medications into drug store stock.
3. Restock automated giving cabinets (ADCs).
4. Preserve sufficient medication stock levels and appropriate storage of medications.
5. Provide medications to client care locations.
6. Address medication demands and telephone call.
7. Help in Drug store quality control activities.
8. Adhere to state and federal regulative requirements, Joint Commission requirements and Tenet and health center policies and treatments.
9. Help pharmacists in carrying out numerous responsibilities as appointed.
Certifications
Education
Required: High School Graduate or comparable
Experience
Preferred: Medical Facility Experience
Accreditations
Needed: Registered Drug store Professional license. Drug store Specialist accreditation (both based upon state requirements)
