Position Summary …

What you’ll do … Procedures member purchases by running a sales register and associated hardware; and utilizing suitable treatments for various payment types and products sold.Maintains product discussion in the drug store by equipping and turning product and materials gotten from warehouse and providers; eliminating harmed or obsolete products; establishing, cleansing, and arranging item display screens; finalizing and prices product; and protecting delicate and high-shrink merchandise.Maintains the Drug store location in accordance with business policies and treatments by effectively managing claims and returns; using devices to carry out a range of retailing functions (for instance, prices product, producing indications, validating product on-hands); setting up and arranging product and materials; determining diminish and damages; making sure a safe workplace; finishing and keeping needed documents, logs, and other documentation.Monitors and fixes issues in the prescription satisfaction procedure when required by processing details for third-party insurance coverage claims; rescanning illegible images; informing clients to stock that runs out stock, partial fills, and the requirement for doctor permissions on refills; and recognizing circumstances needing pharmacist’s action.Promotes and preserves the Drug store’s expert track record and supplies patients/members with drug store product or services in accordance with regional, state, and federal laws and business policies and treatments by helping the pharmacist in the prescription satisfaction procedure; processing 3rd party insurance coverage declares and/or rejections; helping patients/members with prescription orders and purchases; and finishing, preserving, and protecting documentation, types, and other needed documentation.Provides patient/member service in the Drug store location by acknowledging the member; recognizing member requirements; starting the prescription satisfaction procedure at the drug store drop-off window; producing prescription orders; promoting services and products; solving member problems and issues; helping with purchase decesions; finding nonprescription product; and keeping a safe shopping environment.Enters prescription information into drug store software application by checking out the prescription; equating prescription info into matching system codes; transcribing suitable prescription information (for instance, composed date, drug name, strength, instructions for usage (sig), refills, name of recommending doctor, and prescriber DEA number); and developing or customizing patient/member records.Fills prescriptions by obtaining prescription orders; counting, putting, determining or weighing medication tablets, liquids, and creams; blending or reconstituting medications as required; picking, filling, and labeling prescription containers; and running scanning devices and/or automated giving systems to guarantee prescription accuracy.Provides member help throughout prescription pick-up by validating and getting in client details, according to business policies and treatments, into the TaSCO system; marking proper prescriptions for pick-up; recovering prescription bag from will call bin; scanning security tags; event electronic signatures for the Medical insurance Mobility and Responsibility Act (HIPAA) recommendation and 3rd party payor, if suitable; and utilizing TaSCO to log the sale of limited pharmaceutical products. Finishes work projects and top priorities by utilizing policies, information, and resources; working together with supervisors, colleagues, clients, and other organization partners; determining top priorities, due dates, and expectations; performing jobs; interacting development and details; identifying and advising methods to deal with enhancement chances; and adjusting to and gaining from modification, problems, and feedback. Complies with business policies, treatments, and requirements of principles and stability by carrying out associated action strategies; utilizing the Open Door Policy; and using these in carrying out company procedures and practices.
