What you will be doing
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Back-up and support the shift manager.
Trains and coaches Pharmacy Technicians on the functional treatments of the Optifill satisfaction devices and the Manual Pick procedure. Works with the Ancillary group in training for the packaging and shipping of prescriptions.
Monitors the efficiency of employee to guarantee compliance with running treatments (SOP’s) for functional jobs of Optifill, Manual Pick, Packing and Shipping locations.
Works with Management to execute and keep an eye on SOP’s to help with a smooth prescription satisfaction and packing/shipping operations.
Establishes and preserves favorable working relationships with Costco Pharmacists and associates within the Central Fill.
Supports compliance with all suitable policies, treatments, security guidelines and California Board of Pharmacy guidelines.
Posts Pharmacy Technician and Ancillary efficiency steps, consisting of weekly satisfaction reports and container upkeep logs.
Performs associated responsibilities as designated.
All Pharmacy responsibilities of a Pharmacy specialist needed
- Operates Optifill 1 automated satisfaction devices under the instructions of the Lead Pharmacy Technician.
- Responsible for the precise satisfaction of prescriptions, topping, and printing of drug store vial labels, consisting of automated and manual procedures.
- Handles the satisfaction of containers with defined drugs as directed.
- Performs the everyday upkeep of cylinders and cleansing of devices as specified by schedule.
- Restocks drugs and materials for usage by Optifill in addition to for each manual choice station.
- Performs cylinder repair work and deals with general troubleshooting of Optifill maker at the instructions of Engineer.
- Builds brand-new containers for drugs to be given by Optifill 1.
- Assists Inventory Coordinator with check in and put away of everyday wholesale drug order following item storage treatments and requirements.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires some technical occupation training, or comparable mix of experience and education; should have finished State, National, or NACDS technical training as needed by State; generally needs a minimum of 2 (2) years associated experience; should be licensed with a state or nationwide technical accreditation company; previous experience in Retail or Hospital drug store chosen; previous supervisory experience chosen.
